We had a great stay at this hotel. I was a little worried after reading some of the reviews but was pleasantly surprised. We stayed for one night. We had fun playing shuffle board! The staff was friendly. The bed, sheets and pillows were comfortable. The shower had great water pressure! I love the fun art work all throughout the property. And the price was great. We found them on Hotel Tonight. Would highly recommend!

For the price, this is a great hotel. Spacious, cheerful, and noise proof bedrooms. Fun lobby and hotel bar with helpful staff. I paid $165 for a last minute booking and saw other more well known chains (Hilton, Marriott) were charging the exact same price. In my opinion, this hotel takes your guest experience a step further with the charm of the hotel

They’ve spared no expense at Graduate Richmond. The rooms are so cute, creativity decorated, and spacious. Plenty of places to spread out and enjoy alone time in the room or mix and mingle with other guests at the cafe/bar in the lobby or the rooftop bar. The one fatal flaw of the hotel is arguably the most important part of any hotel: the bed. What a sad, uncomfortable experience sleeping here was. The mattress was cheap and uncomfortable. The sheets have to be 200 thread count. It’s like covering the bed in paper mache. We had the sheets changed during our stay and every set was stained. They don’t believe in mattress covers at Graduate, so don’t count on the highest quality. The pillows should be burned. Several sizes of pillows were provided but not a single one of them was stuffed properly and at no point were they comfortable. They desperately need to address the comfort of the beds with the focus they devoted to every other aspect of the hotel.

Great experience, great vibe as well, the rooms are styled different and it's definitely an aesthetic. The rooftop bar was beautiful and the view above the pool area was amazing as well. Only reason I gave a 4 star was because the sink had a couple long brown hairs in it, and seeing as how I did the big chop, it couldn't mine. And also the downstairs cafe was supposed to open at 6 so I thought I was going to be able to grab a drink and go to work by 6:30 but it took very long for it to open so by 6:15 I had to just leave.

Great location, walkable to restaurants and stores. Super cute, updated but kitschy feel to this old building. The decor is super cute. Fun bar area, and the rooftop pool is perfect for lounging although you may need to fight someone for an actual lounge chair! Also I wish the walkway between the pool and rooftop car was actually usable but it was locked. Rooms are cute, bathroom is absolutely tiny, as in, only one person can even fit at a time.. but also cute.
