Realmente gosto deste hotel. Tudo estava limpo. O entretenimento na piscina e naquela noite foi muito bom. Inscrever-se para excursões foi fácil, a senhora que nos ajudou tornou tudo perfeito e também foi útil para nos conseguir sapatos de água. A comida era boa também a minha única crítica é a sua programação com os restaurantes. Não ficou claro como você consegue um assento. Eles não fazem reservas, mas não explicam como garantir uma mesa. Fomos a um restaurante por volta das 7h30 e eles nos disseram que haviam atingido o limite da noite e estão fechados.

Really like this hotel. Everything was clean. The entertainment by the pool and that night was very good. Signing up for excursions was easy, the lady who helped us made it seamless and also was helpful in getting us water shoes. The food was good too my only critique is their scheduling with the restaurants. It wasn't clear on how you obtain a seat. They don't do reservations but did not explain how to guarantee a table. We went to one restaurant around 7:30 and they told us they have reached their limit for the night and they're closed.

We really enjoyed our stay. The food, beach and rooms were excellent. The best part was the staff. They were helpful, courteous, fun, engaging and made us feel welcome. It was a wonderful vacation for us. I would definitely like to return.

The resort was amazing. I prefer this one to Riu Negril. The Palace is much better in food selection, entertainment, and overall ambience. There are some servers that were so amazing that I’d love to acknowledge. I hope the hotel management recognizes there effort because the following individuals were amazing!!!Samantha (breakfast/lunch server) - went above and beyond. Remembered my drink orders and brought me everything I needed promptly. Was very kind and easy to talk to.Powell (dinner server) - so kind and personable. Very attentive.Andrew, Keyshawn, Devin, Indira (bartenders) - the best bar service ever, always remembered our drink orders and made delicious drinksAndrew (coconuts + sugar cane juicer) - service with a smile. Great guy, loved talking to him!Kevon (beach waiter) - brought us drinks on the beach. He walked all the way from the end of the resort to the bar. He was very attentive and always came back to refill my drinks! He was so kind and awesome!Spotlight and Starlight (entertainers) - they always put on a great show, were so funny! Loved their attitudes and made it easy for us to join activities and participate.

This is Actually the 2nd BEST Resort I stayed at out Jamaica !! I am actually still here I just had to write an AMAZING review !!! 1 out of 100 I would say 1000‼️Everything about this resort was EPIC , The Food , The entertainment for FAMILIES , The beach, The View , The STAFF , The housekeepers , The RESORT period is Absolutely AMAZING! You WILL NOT waste your money!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT HERE! I been smiling since I checked in the vibes are AMAZING !!!!

We have stayed at several Riu resorts. This was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. They were very accommodating. Anything we needed they made sure we had it. The food at the buffet was so yummy, we almost didn’t go to any of the restaurants…. I am so glad we did. The steakhouse was amazing. The beach was more than perfect. Our beach waiter Travis was such a wonderful waiter. He remembered from one day to the other what we liked to drink. He also made us a special drink just for our anniversary. He was so sweet and efficient. If for no other reason ( and believe me there are many) you will want to vacation here, just so you can experience the beautiful beach. And be waited on by the greatest waiter. We had so many people that stood above the rest. B Brown greeted us at the entry escorted us to our room. When we told him it was our anniversary, he made sure we were given a bottle of champagne. Then a week later when we were leaving, he remembered us and asked how our anniversary was. If you are going to Jamaica, this place is your best choice all the way around🥰

Very terrible hotel. They are misleading with information. Don't fall for the free covid testing it's free for only Americans. The food is terrible. The rooms and always damp. Just go stay in an airbnb and live ur best life

Had a wonderful time in a beautiful location. Staff was amazing. Buffet was quite good. Finer dining was first come first serve and was filled by 7pm (opened at 630pm). Drinks free flowing. Nightly entertainment was pretty good (3 good nights out of 5). No elevators to get to rooms so if you need one, stay on the main floor.

The hotel was amazing! Very clean property and clean beach. Comfortable bed and clean room. From the hustlers on the beach to the staff in the resort, the people in Jamaica are so kind & warm hearted. Honestly, some great people. The food was very good & plentiful ! They had a lot of authentic Jamaican food which was a huge bonus for me! They have a restaurant called Krystal which was amazing and all other restos including buffet was good except the Italian restaurant which wasn’t good at all. For the restaurants, they open at 6:30pm, once it fills you have to wait until 8pm to go in (they went for the first batch of people to leave then restart service at 8pm). The nightlife was OK. Consisted of live performances & dances. & some games with the tourists… some performances were fun, some were average. I wish they would have played music during the day while I was laying on the beach. It was only a few times where they played music during the day. Alcoholic beverages are very good ! I would recommend to try the Jamaican Smile.

This was a last minute booking. Not very high expectations for this weekend trip... Oh boy were we surprised! Comfortable room and bathroom. Separate pools. Actually good food. Lovely pastry selection. And a very warm and welcoming staff. The property is kid friendly, minus the lack of elevators. So keep this in mind. I must give credit where credit is due. I recommend this property to the budget minded person, looking for a nice getaway that won't break the bank. One Love.

Food average. Nothing to rave about. Standard room however they lost major points by not having the minibar stocked. Staff professionalism was the bare minimum. Great Beach. Well kept. Also yes they sanitised persons when entering the restaurants but there was no provision of masks in the room, just hand sanitizers

Mi primera experiencia fue buena, me saludó en el check-in con ponche de ron, mi habitación con vista al mar era agradable. La habitación tiene un mezclador de barra para su propio uso y otros elementos esenciales habituales. La comida es buena sobre todo comimos del buffet y el personal es muy amable. Recomendaría que este complejo se divirtiera y fue una gran experiencia.

Las instalaciones eran geniales, como el aspecto moderno, pero me decepcionó mucho el pequeño baño con ducha de pie. Me refiero a que rnr requiere un buen baño en un jacuzzi. Ducharse es equivalente a salir corriendo. Para reservar un hotel agradable como este y no llegar a rnr en la habitación cara que costaba mucho dinero por noche, no valía la pena. El personal del buffet y del bar era acogedor y hospitalario y probablemente fue la parte más acogedora de las instalaciones. Creo que ser un resort de primera es ofrecer lo que otros resorts no ofrecen, y tuve que acortar mi estadía porque no sentía que mi dinero trabajara para mí y mi familia en este resort. Además, el personal de recepción podría ser más empático y compasivo.

More obvious directions on where you can eat or how to access the areas would be nice.... Food...yes there was a variety, but overall it was blah at best. Entertainment... Gregory's Performance on reggae night 8/14 was excellent. Overall the spa service and general friendliness of staff were the highlight of my stay.

I feel like I got this hotel for free and payed nothing with the way my group of almost 20 people are being treated.The food here is HORRIBLE! POOR CHOICES AND RE USED FOOD FROM THE NIGHT BEFORE. MANAGEMENT ADRESS NO ISSUES AND AT THIS MOMENT A 24 HOUR ALL INCLUSIVE HOTEL REFUSES TO GIVE US BLANKETS AND TOWELS DUE TO that department being closed.stay tunes i have a couple more days here . Facility was great, like the modern look, but was very dissappointed by the small bathroom with standing shower. I mean rnr requires a nice soak in a jacuzzi bath tub. Shower is equivalent to rushing out. To book a nice hotel such as this and not get to rnr in the expensive room that cost soo much money per night,was not worth it. The buffet and bar staff were welcoming and hospitable and probably was the most welcoming part of the facility.I beleive to be a top resort is to offer what other resorts don't,and I had to cut my stay short because I did not feel my money working for me and my family at this resort. Also the front desk staff could be more empathetic and compassionate.

My 1st time experience was good, I was greeting at check-in with rum punch, my ocean view room was nice. The room has a bar mixer in it for your own use & other regular essentials. The food is good mostly ate from the buffet & the staffs are very friendly. I would recommend this resort had fun & was a great experience.🇯🇲

I stayed at Rui Palace with my family, the staff was second to none, they catered to all our needs.They were everything you would hope for.The sad thing is I overheard how horrible Rui Palace treats their staff, with what's going on right now in the world, the staff doesn't get food packages, no health insurance, no severance package.What are those employees to do?They have families too.They are just left out in the cold.RUI NEEDS TO DO BETTER!!!!Your employees are why we keep coming back.I need to know when RUI is going to do something about this!!!!!!

Me alojé en este hotel en febrero de 2020; Le señalo que la clientela está compuesta principalmente por viajeros estadounidenses y canadienses, de los cuales éramos conscientes y que no nos molestaron en absoluto. El hotel se compone de varios edificios en un estilo colonial clásico con toques de sabor victoriano, bellamente dispuestos a lo largo de la playa de arena blanca de la hermosa Bahía Bloody, justo al norte de la famosa playa de Seven Mile. Hemos confiado en la calidad reconocida de la cadena española Riu y no nos ha decepcionado en absoluto nuestra elección: hotel de 5 estrellas pero a un nivel decididamente superior, junior suites realmente grandes, luminoso, con muebles modernos, baño grande y bien cuidado, mini bar bien surtido con distribuidora de bebidas alcohólicas, excelente servicio con cambio de toallas dos veces al día. El restaurante buffet principal merece una mención especial: acostumbrado a la cocina internacional habitual de muchos hoteles, el buffet Riu Palace definitivamente nos ha sorprendido por el cuidado meticuloso en la preparación, por la calidad y por la gran variedad de alimentos ofrecidos. También quiero mencionar los espacios comunes, muy precisos en cada detalle, en particular el gran parque que rodea los diversos edificios. La playa es amplia y bien equipada con tumbonas, la sombra es ofrecida por las numerosas palmeras, el agua es cálida y cristalina; Playa ideal también para largos paseos por la costa. En general, un hotel realmente digno de atención. Muy recomendable.

Acabo de pasar una semana encantadora allí. El personal es excelente y amable. La comida era excelente, principalmente comí en el buffet, la variedad era increíble. ¡Muchas verduras también! Estuve allí con mis tres hijos de 9-12-13 años. La playa es increíble y no está llena de gente. Increíble puesta de sol! Nuestra habitación no estaba muy lejos del complejo principal o de la playa.

Pros Frente a la playa, seguro, el buffet es bueno, el spa es agradable, la playa está limpia, la vista del agua y la playa son increíbles. Un bonito lugar para caminar en la playa. El registro de entrada fue horrible, el restaurante abierto las 24 horas es principalmente comida chatarra y muy pocas opciones, pocos del personal fueron groseros. El entretenimiento nocturno estaba bien en el mejor de los casos. La gente constantemente intenta apresurarte por tu dinero en la playa. La habitación olía mal después de que la limpiaran. La cama era super dura.

Cons check in was horrible, 24 hour restaurant is mostly junk food and very little options, few of the staff were rude.Nightly entertainment was ok at best. People constantly trying to hustle you for your money on the beach.The room smelled bad after it was cleaned.Bed was super hard.

The entertainment team was fantastic. If you get a chance to meet any of this team Spotlight, Chocolate Thunder and Size 5 are all awesome entertainers. They will get you on the stage or even included in the daily or nightly entertainment events. Don't be shy!The food was amazing, we have been to different resorts in different countries and this was by far the best food choice and flavors we have come across. Go see Arlene (Mama) or Julian at the buffet they were fantastic servers.The beach line was the best in the area; super clean and relaxing.The rooms were very spacious, A/C cooling, great ocean view and our house-lady (Beverley) was awesome. She definitely made our trip when we received daily "towel animals/shapes" and we even had turn down at night.Hands down, the best resort we have ever been to.

This resort is all inclusive with an amazing staff and great people. The rooms are superb. Very clean and the showers are top class with the choice of hot or cold water. The facility has pools and the option for the beach. It also has a gym that I enjoy and a spa. It opens from 7 am to 8 pm. There is live entertainment but try to find out when Silver Birds Steel Orchestra is playing. Entertainment is generally from 9:30 pm to around 11 pm. They are the best. The food is amazing except for the natural juices. Breakfast starts at 8 am to 10 am. Lunch is from 12 noon to 3 pm. Dinner is at 7 pm to 10 pm.A bit diluted for my taste. Overall it is a wonderful experience. I personally like it here. The people that stay here are all cool.and laid back. We all come to have a great time and who can complain when you are being fed good food three times a day with free liquor if you drink and a gym to burn off the food the next day if you so choose to.

Enjoyed my stay here. The hotel was right on the beach and water was clean. I was traveling for my birthday and the staff brought a cake up to my room; this was unexpected and very kind. Plenty of beach chairs available. Taxis were accessible when we requested them. Food was overall good; it could be hit or miss depending on the time and where you go. Pillows were also uncomfortable. It is also far from the airport...about 1.5 hour drive. Despite this, I would definitely return and stay here again next time I return to Jamaica.

Just spent 6 days here and had a really great time.The hotel itself is very nice. Few different pools but the one with the bar is usually the crowded one. Also the beach is a 2 minute walk from almost every hotel room and there's plenty of space down the beach to find a spot. Can be right in the mix with the music around all the people or you can walk down a little bit for more of a quieter time.The entertainment is top notchA few folks who work at the hotel and throughout the day and night, all types of activities and shows going on. During the day we got kind of a fun history /dance show over by the pool. Then at night they performed a rock tribute that lasted an hour and was very fun to watch. The entertainers had all kinds of wigs and props and was just really fun.The food has been really good as well. My favorite spot so far is the jerk chicken shack on the beach. Eat it almost every day. Buffet is pretty good. Ate at 2 of the restaurants and I thought they were ok. Limited menus but the food wasn't bad by any means. My favorite aside from the chicken shack is over by the pool bar, they set up a table in the afternoon and it's something new everyday. One day was fresh burgers off the grill. Seafood paella the next day. Then skewers and beef patties. Everything was excellent.The drinks, what you typically get at all inclusive. Staff has been great and very friendly. If I came back to Negril, this would be the hotel I come to

Beach was great.Didn’t like the people bothering you to buy pot. Rooms were clean. Food was very good at buffet. Restaurants hard to get into. They take no reservations. Towels were very hard. Beautiful setting, lovely rooms that unfortunately stank of mould, good food, wouldn't return.We go to many tropical places, India, Thailand, Antigua, Tortola and other Caribbean islands, never have we stayed in an hotel or an apartment that stank of mould. We changed rooms once and repeatedly complained to reception who told us it was the air conditioning. We tried all the things the management advised and it made no difference at all!

Resort has been nicely renovated. We have been here 4 times, and this resort is great value for the money.We were here for Christmas 2019.The buffet for Christmas Eve was past outstanding all the way to magnificent.I could not eat for a full ten minutes after I got there because it was a feast for the eyes.Plenty of great dishes, although went with the three kinds of duck, roasted, Peking, and a l'aronge, and each one was excellent.This is better than any cruise ship that I have been on.Customer service has also improved.If you ask for something, the person that you ask immediately owns the problem / issue, and finds the answer / gets you the service that you want.No passing the problem onto someone else.Very refreshing.I will go back again..

My second Riu palace that I've stayed and it's not my favorite but it does have some great things about it. I purchased an ocean view room but the view is blocked by trees. This is also not a happening riu spot as there seemed to be more older people than young. I would probably say that this was a mix between a retirement community and family resort. Overall Negril is quiet which is what I would say about the resort. Overall it's clean, quiet, and the staff have smiles on their faces.

Absolutely loved this place. My wife and I stayed at this hotel for a week from 12/08 to 12/13. The food was good, the atmosphere was good, and the staff members were amazing. great economical vacation. my son got married here. I am a little disappointed in the wedding package, the planner didnt help much so we had to figure out most of it ourselves. staff was great. housekeeping did a great job of keeping us stocked with fresh linens and towels.I highly recommend the buffet. lots of variety and the menu changes daily. we ate at the italian restaurant. the anti-pasti was buffet style and wonderful. the entree and dessert were mediocre. overall, great value.

Beautiful resort with friendly staff!We had a wonderful time visiting here.The staff sad friendly, helpful, and attentive. The rooms were kept clean and restocked each day. All of the food was delicious (with the exception of the nachos we ordered from room service late one night) The entertainment was great, and the beach is beautiful and kept pristine.We really enjoyed the morning water aerobics,it was fun and a great workout.I definitely look forward to a future vacation here!

Fabulous place.3 pools. 1 adult pool with bar and lots of action, 1 activities pool with volleyball exercise etc and 1 low key pool where kids can play or you can just swim. Lots of shade and sun areas. The food is excellent here. The staff is seriously remarkable. So very nice and accommodating. Especially in the buffet area.After a day you feel like you are part of a family. Big smiles, welcoming feel... We did not want to leave. The beach is clean and the chairs are always available.The water is clear and beautiful and easy to swim in. The resort is not HUGE it is just right. You get your bearings right away. The rooms are kept very clean and modern. We hope we can come back here soon. A wonderful wonderful vacation.

Day 3- this beach is beautiful, the buffet is excellent (trying not to eat too much) and the cocktails are delicious (trying not to drink too much). The staff is very accommodating and there is entertainment every night. The steel band list night was so great! The room in nice and clean, and the balcony is lovely for relaxing before bed. 2 sea view rooms provided, newly refurbished. Great staff, cant do enough for you. Didnt have to wait long for service. Rooms were always cleaned, stocked and beds turned down , constant supply of fresh towels.Always friendly and helpful.Food requests that weren't on menu honoured. Entertainment team worked so hard for the entire time Thunder, smiley even Michael Jackson impersonator!! Worked so hard. Shout out to Krystal restaurant staff especially Melecia..who is consistently the best chef in the restaurant and will hire her if we win the lottery, getting 5 well cooked duck breast each time with plantin to perfection.!!!!! Would definitely come again, family had best time ever and didnt want to leave after 10 nights!!!

This was my daughter and I second stay at Riu Tropical Bay in Negril. Our first experience was everything, which is why we decided to come back in July of this year for a second stay. However this time the place was flooded with children accompanied with no separation at all. There were kids in every pool, and area of the resort. It wouldn’t have been a problem if they at least had one adult pool. Entertainment was geared towards children for the most part. Unlike last time the beach was slammed with seaweed and other debris. The new renovations were nice but nothing spectacular. As always the staff was wonderful and went above and beyond. If traveling with my children I’d consider coming back but as far as an adult trip I most likely would look for an all adult resort.

This review is coming from a guy who travels twice a year in tropical resorts like this one .This is not even close to riu in MexicoOr other resorts I’ve been to in DR etc ..Staff 90% seem miserable .Too many treesI got ocean view but is more like tree view.No room with a jacuzzi no Matter how Much you pay .All pools and restaurants are stuffed together .“Fancy restaurants” are like small rooms with few tables .Entertaining team and their program , they’re inappropriate like little kids , it’s like 3 day program in repeat .The only good thing about this resort is that they have a beautiful beach long and clear .Stayed 11 days here I’ll never come back

La playa es linda...la arena no muy linda, es oscura y gruesa, pero es muchísimo mejor que la del riu club negril (a 1km)la cual es artificial con agua oscura y de mal olor .Hay que tener cuidado con las mantarayas porque hay muchas x la zona, lo cual hace que no estés tranquilo cuando te bañas en el mar ya que al tocarte te pican y dan una irritación similar a la medusa o agua viva!

Ok just to sleep. The staff is so sweet and helpful. The beach was clean. The night entertainment needs some improvement. The food was average. They have an option for 24hr room service which is a joke. They only offer sandwiches, salad, or nachos. It took two hours to get that one night. One night they never answered the phone. This resort is a two star at best. After complaining we got vouchers that was expired. The best thing they have is the jerk hut but it's only open from 12p til 3pm. I would not stay again. The beds are hard. You get two doubles that make a king.

Very nice hotel. The people here are lovely, polite and very helpful. Extremely clean place; the cleaners come to your room about 4 times a day to see if you want it cleaned, which is good because at previous hotels I've been to you only get given 1 opportunity during the day for your room to be cleaned.The room is a decent size so you have plenty of room for your luggage.There is a range of delicious food (plenty of it) served in a buffet style. They also have a range of different restaurants in the hotel if you fancy something different.Beautiful scenery around the hotel, with the sun setting right on the ocean.

My 1st time experience was good, I was greeting at check-in with rum punch, my ocean view room was nice. The room has a bar mixer in it for your own use & other regular essentials. Deion at the front is the best, really informative..made our stay very enjoyable. Helped out with everything from start to finish. The hotel is clean ,sanitized and inspected daily. Good food even though most of the restaurants are closed. Biggup Chad , Sheldon, Indira an the rest of the crew.

It's ok a bit low key in terms of amenities and activities.. more of a.relaxed environmentthe resort has 3 pools but abit small. But the beach is good though. Food is ok just need to have a working warmer so the food can maintain at least a warm temperature to be served to really enjoy the meal. Staff is accommodating and friendly...
