The Maltese system for rating hotels / accommodation is not the same as the British system. Our room although tidy and clean, smelled of damp, the pillow itself was absolutely filthy with sweat, saliva and who knows what else ! Protectors are not used for the pillows or mattress. We paid for bed & breakfast, I have never seen a choice so limited and cheap at that. Deep fried eggs, hot-dogs, triangular blocks of Danish blue cheese that you buy from the supermarket ! spicy salami, luncheon meat, last nights mashed potato and tinned fruit cocktail. Scrambled or boiled eggs would be healthier, yoghurt and some fresh fruit. The reception and cleaning staff are really friendly but not the dining room staff. Amazing time spent here! The location was amazing, right by sea front and some very lovely welcoming bars right outside the hotel. The staff was extremely friendly, mainly Jan who could tell I was very unwell and cared for me threw my stay there. The maids clean your room every day with fresh sheets. Overwell amazing experience

I was very surprised when I arrived to the hotel, the smell of humidity is so strong that one cannot breathe anymore. When you look to the ceiling you see (greenish/blackish) spots if moist. The breakfast is average and the furniture is poor. The hotel feels renovated but they have missed on the important tings. I have spotted a dead cockroach in my balcony and it stayed there until the end of my stay although the cleaning staff was there every day. I only give credit for the very friendly staff and to the nice location!

Arrived yesterday, Jan on reception couldn't be more helpful. Asked for a safe and fridge for the room and it was in by the time we came back from going for dinner. Room is basic but clean and comfortable

I stayed at the Premra Hotel from August 3 to 9, 2019 in 510 rooms. It was +41 degrees on the street. Air conditioning did not work; the room did not work. My daily requirements to fix the air conditioner or move me to another room remained unanswered. It was impossible to stay in the room even at night from the heat. Water from the tap flowed very slowly. 2. On August 4, I left early on a tour and asked me to give me breakfast a day before departure. Not given. 3. I suggest that all tourists ignore the Premiere Hotel - the hotel management only cares about its own benefits.
