Excellent place for a romantic stay - view from the higher floor is amazing. You can also use the rooftop terrace.
Location is great. Valetta is not a big town, but still it is convenient to be in the middle of it.
Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. We had some minor hitches with the room and those were resolved immediately.
Speaking if issues. Main bed in the room was excellent, however the extra bed (we were a party of three) was significantly less comfortable. Personally I was ok with it, but if your party has someone with bad back - they will have to go on "main" bed.
Second thing to keep in mind is breakfast. We were during off season, so I cannot vouch how it is during peak, but it was mostly sandwich and pastry based and there were not too many ingredients. So if you travel with a big party, or if you have some dietary restrictions - you should probably let hotel know in advance. Pastries were delicious by the way.
Overall would recommend if you are traveling with significant other. If you are coming as a family or a big party - maybe other choices would be better.

Great hotel with helpful and super-nice staff.
Beautifully designed rooms, great location, super-helpful staff, even with issues that were not necessarily their concern (we had to find some medicine on Sunday, when all pharmacies were close and they made it possible).
Besides, the views from our room and the rooftop terrace were astounding.
Will surely go back.

Thoroughly enjoyed the hotel stay. Sampled to of the rooms a suite and a standard. We had a few problems but the staff Tomina, Tina and Kenneth were just perfect making sure that every thing was solved. The hotel is lovely the rooms well appointed and clean. I have to say worthy of the rating I give it because despite the issues the guys nailed it.

Had a wonderfully organised party on the rooftop. Food was delicious, genuine drinks and a very helpful team. The view from the rooftop is breathtaking. Such an exceptional experience. Highly recommend!

What a treat! Highly recommended. Palazzo Ignacio totally turned our holiday around. The staff were so kind, helpful and professional. The rooms clean, comfortable and well maintained. The amenities exactly right. The rooftop bar overlooking the historical city of Valletta and natural harbor was a cherry on top. We will be back!
