Eu realmente gostei da minha estadia neste resort. A comida foi excelente e a equipe foram muito agradável. Eu gostei que eles tinham diferentes variedades de alimentos, bem como os restaurantes adicionais no resort. A cada encontro, eles me reconheciam e me faziam sentir muito bem-vinda. Foi até uma estadia mais agradável porque eu estava noiva. Meu noivo planejou o jantar privado mais espetacular em um gazebo alugado que a equipe juntos em tão curto prazo.

Meu marido e eu tivemos o prazer de passar férias no River Beach Resort & Spa do Jewel Dunn por vários anos consecutivos. Tínhamos começado a pensar no resort como nossa "casa longe de casa". Sempre ficamos satisfeitos com o resort, embora houvesse problemas ocasionais com a manutenção, e nosso quarto e vista sempre atendeu às nossas expectativas. Nenhuma dessas acomodações importava em comparação com o tratamento que recebemos da equipe incrível. Ficamos tão impressionados com muitos membros da equipe, incluindo as pessoas que prepararam a comida, os servidores, os barmen e a incrível equipe de entretenimento, além de outros. Fomos tratados como realeza! Eles tornaram toda a experiência muito mais divertida e agradável, e nos deram algo para esperar todos os dias e noites. Infelizmente, a maioria da nossa "segunda família" que estava empregada lá não estará mais no resort, que agora está sob nova direção. Supostamente, eles foram "demitidos" pela nova administração, sem qualquer aviso prévio. Tendo ficado tão impressionados com a hospitalidade e preocupação com os outros, mantivemos contato com alguns dos ex-funcionários, e fiquei com o coração partido ao saber que algumas dessas pessoas incríveis, trabalhadoras e amorosas não conseguiram encontrar outro emprego , e têm vivido em situações inimagináveis devido à sua demissão abrupta. E, para adicionar insulto à injúria, o COVID atingiu a Jamaica, o que aumentou ainda mais suas dificuldades e perdas. Alguns têm abrigo limitado, pouca comida e esperança cada vez menor de que sobreviverão por muito tempo se não conseguirem um emprego logo. Se é assim que as pessoas que consideramos família são tratadas, NÃO voltaremos ao resort. Não importa quanto dinheiro tenha sido gasto em uma grande reforma, nada pode substituir o excelente tratamento que recebemos desses ex-funcionários incríveis.

My husband and I have had the pleasure of vacationing at the Jewel Dunn's River Beach Resort & Spa for several consecutive years. We had begun to think of the resort as our "home away from home." We were always pleased with the resort, even though there were occasional issues with maintenance, and our room and view always met our expectations. None of those accommodations mattered in comparison to the treatment we received from the amazing staff. We were so impressed with many staff members, including the people who prepared food, the servers, bartenders, and the amazing entertainment crew, as well as others. We were treated like royalty! They made the entire experience so much more fun and enjoyable, and gave us something to look forward to every day and night. Sadly, most of our "second family" that were employed there will no longer be at the resort, which is now under new ownership. Supposedly, they were "let go" by the new management, without any notice. Having been so impressed by the hospitality and concern for others, we have remained in contact with some of the former staff members, and I was heartbroken to learn that some of these amazing, hard-working, loving people have been unable to find further employment, and have been living in unimaginable situations due to their abrupt dismissal. And, to add insult to injury, COVID hit Jamaica, which has further increased their hardship and loss. Some have limited shelter, little food, and diminishing hope, that they will survive long if they can't attain employment very soon. If this is how people that we consider family are treated, then WE WILL NOT be returning to the resort. It doesn't matter how much money has been spent on a huge renovation, nothing can replace the excellent treatment that we received from these amazing former employees.

Minha experiência com o passe de um dia foi ótima! Eu nunca usei slides antes, então fiquei feliz que eles tinham um que eu pudesse deslizar para baixo no tubo. Eles serviam lanches o dia todo. Pipoca, cachorro-quente, hambúrguer, nachos e bebidas.Eles também tinham salas de jogos e outras atividades. Passei a maior parte do tempo flutuando no rio lento - minha parte favorita!

My day pass experience was great! I've never gone on slides before this so I was happy they had the one that I could slide down on the tube. They served snacks all day. Popcorn, hotdogs, burgers, nachos and drinks.They also had game rooms and other activities. I spent most of my time floating around in the lazy River - my favorite part!

Uno supondria por el nombre, precio y tamaño que esperaria una buena estadia... fuimos a la torre Diamond, primera impresion? El ascensor no funcionaba, tuvimos que usar el de servicio que encima no funcionaba el boton para bajar en el primer piso, con lo que siempre teniamos que subir para bajar,y fuimos escoltados por una persona poco amigable que encima me reclamo la propina. Nuestras valijas tardarom mas de una hora en llegar y no teniamos con que cambiarnos. El hotel tiene muchos restaurantes y bares, los cuales no estan señalizados en ningun lado con lo que encontrarlos es x pura casualidad, los eventos de entretenimiento empezaban tarde y no se anunciaban el buffet tiene poca variedad, restaurantes con comida recalentada, la atencion es mala, TODA la comida es picante, no hay variable no picante, el dress code y las reservas para los restaursntrs se entera en la puerta, no te avisa nadie. Llegamos y no nos dijeron como usar el wifi (que es horrible y se corta siempre), en la habitación el aire goteaba, la bañera de la habitqcion no funcionaba bien la ducha y sin extractor.

I had a great time at this resort! The wife and I celebrated our 1st anniversary here and I enjoyed every minute. Staff was friendly, room was clean, and plenty of food and drinks.Only issue I had was the lack of towels. We did a lot of excursions so we got dirty a lot and was limited to towels. Spoke with the manager and they took care of the issue.If you are thinking about going, go!

I really enjoyed my stay at this resort. The food was excellent and the staff were very pleasant. I liked that they had different varieties of food, as well as the additional restaurants on the resort. Every encounter, they acknowledged me and made me feel very welcome. It was even a more pleasant stay because I was engaged there. My fiance planned the most spectacular private dinner on a rented gazebo that the staff put together on such short notice.

Loving our honeymoon stay here in Jamaica. This is a great location and close to the best excursions on the island. Best pizza I've had in any resort hotel or restaurant, real brick oven.Beautiful views from our 5th floor balcony too. Much entertainment,so much fun and good food.Will never forget this place.I read some reviews about cleanliness and I would just like to add that while we were there they closed the pool and hot tubs daily for cleaning, scrubbed the entire patio tile area with bleach and each restaurant was closed every couple days for thorough cleaning. We saw them using food thermometers every single day and when a guest left an odor in the elevator we just mentioned it to a staff member and it was cleaned and fresh just minutes later.There was constant cleaning going on. With that many guests there's bound to be some mess overlooked but it wasn't overlooked for long. The place is not brand new, nor perfect but taking that into consideration it was very nice. We had wonderful romantic moments and the staff was so friendly and kind. We loved it there and hated to leave.
