Great staff and location but hotel's age is definitely showing in the rooms. Renovations are underway which will hopefully bring some much needed updates. Complimentary breakfast is quite good.

The hotel itself is what you’d expect from a comfort inn. It’s clean, very basic, has ample parking, and the staff were very helpful. The pet fee is also reasonable.
The main reason for giving it a 3 star review is because of the pricing. The Labor Day pricing was phenomenally high for a comfort inn.

Just ok because for the price over 200 U would say it was a bit poor experience. No single bottle of water in the room fridge no coffee available in the reception, poor coffee maker in the room and if course, bring your own coffee to
make it. A bit old carpet and other furniture. Bed was comfy. No breakfast. Next time will search for B&B.

Had our reservation cancelled by someone who worked there. Couldn't tell us why it was cancelled. After driving all day from St John's the last thing we needed was a cancellation and no rooms available anywhere.
The front end person did manage to get us an apartment to rent for the night which we were greatful for but after 2 hrs. By the time we got to bed we only had a few hrs before we had to get up and be on the road to catch the ferry to North Sydney. This apparently was something she was doing out of the goodness of her heart. Really it was her job.
The front end staff had the nerve to say I feel your pain. No you don't.

Stopped here on our way to NL...
Receptionist was friendly and accommodating for my early check in. This hotel allows pets so we had a ground floor room for the cat and dog. Enough space for 3 adults and the room was clean and comfortable! Restaurant attached served a variety of foods and breakfast opened at 07, which was good for the early morning start.
Would stay again!
