Overall the resort was in good condition. We had to make several requests to have a leaky toilet repaired and ultimately had to change rooms, but that was the biggest complaint - which is not a huge deal. My first impression of the staff is they weren't as friendly as the other Caribbean islands we visited. However, a few staff were friendly and warm enough to more than makeup for the not-so-friendly staff. Staff like Sean, the manager at the Southern Table restaurant, and Patrice from the Vibe Team made us feel like family. Sean was pleasant, accommodating, friendly, attentive, humorous, and engaging; he made it a point to ensure we were taken care of and had a good time. He introduced us to his staff and treated us like family when we came to eat at his restaurant, which served good food every time. Patrice was friendly and fun! She engaged the crowd and made sure everyone had a good time whenever she came around. The resort offers lots of fun things and good food to eat. If you want to relax, you can do that too. I recommend my friends and family visit Sandals Ochi Beach Resort if they are looking for Adult only Inclusive Fun!

Esta foi a nossa primeira viagem Sandals e primeira vez para a Jamaica. Fomos para o nosso casamento e tivemos 25 convidados que se juntaram a nós. 2 casais tiveram um problema com seus quartos, mas o problema foi resolvido no dia seguinte e um se mudou para outra vila e um recebeu um upgrade. Eles foram incríveis, então, se você tiver a chance de solicitá-los, não ficará desapontado. This was our first Sandals trip and first time to Jamaica. We went for our wedding and had 25 guests who joined us. 2 couples had a problem with their rooms but the issue was resolved the next day and one moved to another villa and one got an upgrade. The wedding was flawless. We had such a great time and we were VERY impressed with how good everything went without us ever stepping foot there. We had a butler villa on the hillside. Julia and Patrick were our butlers and they made our stay so great we decided to book again the same dates next year and even got to request them. They were amazing so if you ever get a chance to go request them and you will not be disappointed. We saw negative reviews on a facebook group about the outdated rooms and I will say there are a few layouts that could be updated but please remember this is an older Sandals resort and the prices are cheaper then the others. This doesn't take away from the beauty of this site. The landscape is incredible. Lots of plants, flowers and trees around. The beach area is a little small but plenty of pool areas.

Se hospedado por 3 noites. Quase 2 horas de carro para o clube, mas queríamos fazer isso para ver mais da Jamaica. Confira a localização ao selecionar seu quarto. Há uma estrada que separa o resort. Há uma parte superior (mais longe da praia, uma grande piscina aqui) e uma parte inferior (mais perto da praia), mas o ônibus passa a cada 10 minutos para os hóspedes e leva você a 3 paradas, o clube de praia, o lobby principal no parte superior, e o lobby principal na parte inferior. Tivemos um tempo maravilhoso no Sandals. Veio com 5 outras pessoas (3 casais no total) um grupo tinha a suíte de mordomo e eles ajudaram muito com fazer reservas e obter cabanas na praia.O resto de nós ficamos nos quartos Rivera ao lado da praia e, embora um pouco desatualizados, ainda nos divertimos e gostamos dos quartos. As camas eram limpas e nosso atendente de quarto foi super agradável e prestativo. O outro casal que ficou em um quarto diferente nunca recebeu nenhum serviço de quarto ou os animais fofos que foram deixados em todo o resto de nossos quartos durante a estadia. Felizmente, nosso atendente foi para o quarto deles e lhes deu toalhas limpas. A cama era macia, mas com a mola de caixa inexistente nos deixou jogando um pouco. Ainda confortável, mas não há muito o que fazer com isso.O casal hospedado no mordomo à beira da praia disse que a cama deles era super macia. Comida era ótima em quimonos e soja (definitivamente obter reservas) o resto foi a sua média com tudo incluído, algumas coisas melhores do que outras, por sorte pedimos várias coisas e uma foi feita para a outra. Todos os funcionários são incrivelmente simpáticos e tornaram a viagem divertida com piadas e ótimas conversas.Uma pessoa do nosso grupo acabou se machucando e acabou de muletas, então, felizmente, seus mordomos tomaram muito cuidado com eles e enviaram a enfermeira para verificar todos os dias.Uma coisa que vou notar é estar preparado para caminhar, felizmente todos nós não tivemos problemas a menos que começasse a chover, o que provavelmente será preparado com o guarda-chuva e a previsão fornecidos.No geral, gostamos do resort Sandals, definitivamente um para os livros.

Resort was absolutely gorgeous and the staff couldn't have been nicer to work with. Everyone I interacted with was as nice as could be, wonderfully helpful, and went out of their way to make our experience magical! The food was terrific. The rooms are a little dated but were clean and in good repair and the view was incredible. We enjoyed several excursions and had a wonderful time.

Stayed for 3 nights. Almost 2 hour drive to club but we wanted to do that to see more of Jamaica. You do stop about halfway through in Discovery Bay at the Jerk Shack which was great for the restrooms but the food smelled amazing too. Resort is beautiful, everyone was super friendly, and don’t be afraid to ask anyone anything because they all know the answers! Food everywhere was amazing. We did wish we had brought our snorkels because they do not have ones you can use at the resort. They will take you snorkeling on their boat out the in ocean which was nice. Check out the location when selecting your room. There is a road that separates the resort. There is an upper part (farther from beach, big pool is here) and a lower part (closer to beach), but the bus runs every 10 minutes for guests and takes you to 3 stops, the beach club, the main lobby at the upper part, and the main lobby at the lower part. It was great for getting around!Club Mobay saved us hours in lines on the way home at the airport. We definitely recommend it!

Had an amazing time at Sandals. Came with 5 other people (3 couples total) one group had the butler suite and they helped a lot with making reservations and getting cabanas down by the beach. The rest of us stayed at the beach side Rivera rooms and although a little outdated we still had fun and enjoyed the rooms. The beds were clean and our room attendant was super nice and helpful. The other couple staying in a different room never got any room service or the cute animals that were left on all the rest of our rooms while staying. Luckily our attendant went to their room and gave them fresh towels. The bed was soft but with the nonexistent box spring it left us tossing a bit. Still comfortable but not much you can do with that. The couple staying at beach side butler said their bed was super soft. Food was great at kimonos and soy (definitely get reservations) the rest were your average all inclusive food, some things better than others so luckily we ordered multiple things and one made up for the other. All of the employees are amazingly nice and made the trip fun with jokes and great conversations. One person in our group ended up hurting themselves and ended up on crutches so luckily their butlers took awesome care with them and sent the nurse to check on the every other day. One thing I will note is be prepared to walk, luckily we all didn’t have an issue unless it started raining, which it most likely will so be prepared with the provided umbrella and forecast. Overall we enjoyed the Sandals resort, definitely one for the books.

Greetings All, I am currently staying on the property for a family vacation with older siblings.The online pictures does not represent how beautiful both properties truly are.Words cannot express the beauty..There are so many restaurants and bars staffed with the great and outstanding employees.They offered games and played games me when my family didn’t want to. They have tennis and basketball courts.The shows are outstanding like Vegas, the speak easy club takes you back with drinks and live music from that era. The food; I could write all day about how good it is.The people who work at the resort arebeautiful, talented, and have outstanding service attending to your every need.I wanted to offer tips because the service is always outstanding but everyone told me ‘no.’I love it here and plan to return with other family members. O destaque da minha estadia neste resort foi definitivamente o nosso mordomo Natalee e Sashemia. Eles foram além do que era exigido no trabalho, todos os dias. The highlight of my stay at this resort was most definitely our butler Natalee and Sashemia. They went above and beyond what was required in the job, every single day. On some occasions stayed later after their shift to accommodate to our needs. Word can not describe their exceptional service! After speaking with other guests and their butler experience, It just confirmed how lucky we were to have them. I will always request them as our butlers for any future visits. I hope they are rewarded well for this. The resort itself is beautiful though the rooms are very dated and doesn’t have great lighting. Our housekeeper Tiffanie was also wonderful. There were many restaurants however not enough authentic Jamaican cuisine. I had to spend extra money locally outside the resort to experience this. Same with the entertainment/ music etc, I experienced true Jamaican culture off the resort. The resort entertainment and food catered to a Caucasian audience. Overall great resort!

Particularmente com o Sandals, me senti muito desconfortável mesmo entrando em certas áreas do resort, porque muitos funcionários estão implorando para você reservar serviços adicionais de spa, jantares privados, outras férias no Sandals, etc. Nós hospedado em uma suíte de lua-de-mel que veio com serviço de concierge. Nós não reservamos o quarto por causa do serviço de concierge; estávamos simplesmente à procura de um quarto atualizado no lado do mar do resort. Fiquei 5 dias no quarto mais barato e tivemos um grande momento. A equipe é muito simpática e o local é limpo. Tantas piscinas para escolher e um outro resort completo do outro lado da rua. A equipe de mergulho é muito qualificada e nunca tem pressa (essa é a maneira jamaicana). Tudo está muito perto do seu quarto. Os restaurantes são bons, mas eu já comi melhor. A exceção notável é o restaurante francês que foi 5 estrelas pelo sabor, apresentação e serviço. 90 minutos de carro do aeroporto é algo a considerar. Sandálias bem feitas. Não volto só porque prefiro Praias Negril.

resort is beautiful and the staff are friendly and very kind. However after seeing the true poverty of the country and being hustled for 'gifts' aka cash tips, I can't help but feel like the resort industry completely takes advantage of the wonderful people who work here and at other resorts on the island. Particularly with Sandals, I felt very uncomfortable even entering certain areas of the resort because so many employees are begging you to book additional spa services, private dinners, another Sandals vacation, etc. We stayed in a honeymoon suite which came with a concierge service. We didn't book the room because of the concierge service; we were simply looking for an upgraded room on the sea side of the resort. (It's worth noting the resort is split into two sides, with the butler rooms being on the jungle side.) We called the concierge one morning to make dinner reservations and were told none were available. Called the next morning, were put on hold, then told no reservations were available and that we needed to make them at least a day or more in advance. That would have been nice to know during our initial call for reservations. We ate twice at Soy because they don't require reservations and had a disappointing $300+ private dinner that we left early because it was so bad. Our flight was delayed a full 24 hours and we did not arrive at the resort until 930pm the next day. The resort refused to do anything to remedy our loss of a night and full day that we paid for in full when we booked the vacation in November 2021. Overall, it's fine. Be prepared to tip and be asked for tips in the form of gifts by some of the staff.

This was our first trip abroad as well as our first all inclusive resort.It was well worth the wait.We opted for the butler suites and loved it.Our butlers, Ray and Jackie, were amazing.From escorting us to our meals, driving us around the resort, or surprising us with little surprises in our suite, everything was perfect.Sure, there was some wear on things, but the experience made up for any small cosmetic problems.Everyone was so friendly and the other guests were as well.This was our first trip like this, but now I doubt it will be our last.Thank you to everyone at Sandals Ochi for the vacation to remember.

Stayed 5 days in the cheapest room and had a great time. Staff is very friendly and the place is clean. So many pools to chose from and a complete other resort across the street. Dive team is very knowledgable and never in a hurry (that’s the Jamaican way). Everything is very close to your room. The restaurants are fine but I’ve had better food. The notable exception is the French restaurant which was 5 star for taste, presentation and service. 90 minute drive from the airport is something to consider. Well done Sandals. I won’t be back only because I prefer Beaches Negril.

The trip was fantastic! We got married and honeymooned at the Ochi resort, so we splurged on the Butler sweet package. Dexter and Moria (our butlers) were both the kindest, most helpful people ever. They made the whole trip extra special. Food was amazing, drinks tasty, and the resort has activities for everyone. Totally recommend for a relaxing getaway or a special event!

Sandals all-inclusive beach resorts never disappoints us. The accommodations are spacious and clean. The grounds are spectacular from pristine beaches with clear blue water to beautiful landscapes with flowers and plants. The restaurants offer so many tasty dishes. But staff is what makes it all so wonderful.They're the best.

Everyone is very accommodating, there is always something going on. Plenty of food options in each resort and plenty of excursions to go on. The only thing that I would change is if you stay on the hill side you will need to hop on the bus that will take you to the beach side of the resort. Other than that great place to vacation!

Minha esposa e eu tivemos o melhor tempo em nossa lua de mel para Sandals Ochi. Clima perfeito, nossos mordomos foram incríveis, a comida era ótima e relaxante à beira da piscina e do mar todos os dias era exatamente o que o médico receitou. Comemos em quase todos os restaurantes e TODA a comida era fantástica. Com minha esposa grávida eu tive que beber por dois, mas os bartenders sempre misturavam suas deliciosas bebidas não alcoólicas que ela adorava. Já reservamos nossa próxima viagem ao Sandals e definitivamente voltaremos à Jamaica eventualmente!

Overall our trip was fun.Some of the restaurants were better than others.We really enjoyed the speakeasy.The AC in our room went out but they fixed it quickly.The water in our room was either cold or luke warm.They did clean our room and refill our bar daily.Most of the staff was friendly and accommodating.We were given a list of the entertainment schedule so we missed several events and were told they few people came to them anyway.We enjoyed the sunset catamaran cruise, couples massage, and candlelight dinner.We will probably do another sandals trip in the future but at a newer resort.

My wife and I had the best time on our Honeymoon to Sandals Ochi. Perfect weather, our butlers were amazing, the food was great and relaxing by the pool and the ocean every day was just what the doctor ordered. We ate at nearly every restaurant and ALL of the food was fantastic. With my wife being pregnant I had to drink for two but the bartenders always mixed her delicious non alcoholic beverages that she loved. We've already booked our next Sandals trip and we will definitely be back in Jamaica eventually!

No geral, um ótimo resort com uma excelente equipe. Dois lados da montanha resort e do lado do oceano. Nós ficamos no lado da montanha e não pegamos o ônibus. Subimos e descemos a colina que fica a apenas 800 metros do outro lado. A comida era boa, no entanto, o lugar de sushi foi de longe o melhor no geral. Os locais de pizza perto das piscinas foram excelentes.

This was our first time at a sandals resort and it is also our honeymoon. But our showers and sink did not work and the only bathing we were able to do was when we spent time in the pool. We told the front desk two different days, also told the employee who went around asking for reviews and service. Each time they said they would send someone right up there but through our entire week stay nothing ever actually happened.Jamaica is beautiful and everyone is amazing and so happy. But this location feels like a cruise on land. The only place to really have “fun in the sun” is the very nice and large pool they have. The “beach” is a small roped off square in the water. The service at the restaurants and red lane spa or excursions were all great. All of the drivers are super nice and will teach you so much about the culture and anything you have questions.We were very disappointed in the service to the room and lack of help we actually received after mentioning it to multiple employees. But other than our room problems the resort is great, especially if you have never been to Jamaica before.

Overall a great resort with great staff. Two side of the resort mountain and ocean side. We stayed on the mountain side and didn't take the shuttle. We walked up and down the hill which is only about a half mile to the other side. Food was good however the sushi place was by far the best overall. Pizza places near the pools were great.

Amei o resort, pois havia muito o que fazer e muitas opções de refeições. Se você não queria fazer nada, tudo bem também. O speakeasy foi muito legal e o entretenimento excelente! A equipe foi super simpática e acolhedora para os hóspedes. Os jardins eram lindos. O resort está dividido em duas seções. . .o lado da praia (lado norte) do resort era mais adequado para nós, mas o lado sul tinha uma piscina incrível. Os hóspedes podem utilizar qualquer uma das instalações do resort de 100 acres. A parte com tudo incluído dessas férias fez com que nossas férias sem estresse, já que você não precisava se preocupar com dinheiro enquanto estava lá ou dirigindo. . .apenas se divertindo todos os dias. A viagem para Sandals Ochi foi cerca de 1 1/2 viagem do aeroporto, mas gostei disso, assim como você teve um vislumbre da vida na Jamaica. Tivemos alguns problemas no início da semana, mas a gerência cuidou deles e até nos mandou uma garrafa de champanhe para o quarto com alguns balões. My husband and I loved this resort for our honeymoon! We had scheduled plenty of activities/excursions, but even without these we would have kept busy just with what the resort has to offer in daily activities. There are so many restaurants we ate at a different place every night. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. We cannot wait to go back! It is about a two hour ride from the airport, but well worth it.

Loved the resort as there was so much to do and lots of dining choices.If you didn't want to do anything, that's ok too.The speakeasy was very cool and the entertainment superb!Staff was super friendly and accommodating to guests.The grounds were beautiful.The resort is in two sections. . .beach side (northern side) of the resort suited us best but the southern side had an awesome swimming pool.Guests could use any of the facilities on the 100 acre resort.The all-inclusive part of this vacation made our vacation stress free as you didn't have to worry about money while there or driving. . .just having a good time each and every day.The trip to Sandals Ochi was about 1 1/2 ride from the airport, but enjoyed that as well as you got a glimpse of life in Jamaica.We did have a few issues at the start of our week but management took care of them and even sent us a bottle of champagne to the room with some balloons.This was our first Sandals resort but won't be our last!Would highly recommend this vacation / resort!

This was our first experience staying at Sandals and we absolutely loved it. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Jamaica is stunningly beautiful and so are the locals, Such a happy island. Sandals Ochi is the best of everything, either for light life or a quiet romantic evening, its all there. Ochi restaurants offered menus that catered to every pallet vegan to carnivore, so many options. Breathtaking views fromBeach with crystal clear water or tropical rainforest it something for every occasion.We had such a great time we booked a second trip next year.

We are there in Sandals for 4 nights. The staff are very warm and I haven’t seen such positive and helpful people any where since I travel a lot. Kudos to the Management. Food and drinks were excellent. Our villa was awesome. Great excursions. Highly recommend it to any couples interested in getting away to a great vacation and opportunity to reboot in life!

I can't say enough good things about our experience here. My significant other and I visited for a vacation after working this pandemic for the past year. We were incredibly impressed with the cleaning protocols throughout the resort. Anytime something was touched or sat on, there was immediately staff behind the guest cleaning. Amazing. The rooms were clean and spacious and beautiful. The food.... oh my, it was amazing. We ate fish all week and it was so fresh! We enjoyed hanging out with staff on the beach to play games and getting our butts kicked at the gym with Jimmy. We only had a few small issues - our room often was not turned over before 5pm, which was frustrating when we were trying to get cleaned up for the evening, and the water went out on our floor twice, but it was quickly resolved! We actually booked a second vacation with Sandals - we were impressed and we enjoyed it!

The grounds are beautiful. Things were mostly clean. We found the food to be meh. The pools were dirty. We came back to our room early one day to find the cleaning staff rinsing wine glasses in the bathroom. We didn't find some of the staff very welcoming or pleasant. The checkout process wasn't smooth. The drive to and from Hotel is about 1.5 hours and the driver was terrifying. There was construction going on in the rooms across from us. I asked about a new room before we even unpacked and they assured us it wouldn't be a problem but we heard them all week. We had a great holiday just expected more from a sandals.

Would give about 3.5 stars but you have to give either 3 or 4. The pick up from airport was quick and efficient. Arrival at the resort seemed to go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Lots of small issues that built up. 1. Cannot make restaurant reservations till you arrive but by then everything was booked so ours were always 9 or 930 meaning you missed every show. 2. Multiple requests for a step stool for the wife to climb in and out of the high beds before actually getting one. 3.The bars always had problems, broken blenders, limited mixers, limit on specific brands of alcohol 4. VERY limited seating at the pools, get there extra early to reserve and hope no one moves your stuff 5. 50/50 chance on whether the staff is pleasant or you were bothering them. Bartenders in the Great House Bar were wonderful. Most other seemed to not really like what they were doing even when not busy. 6. The TV was horrible. Every channel snowy and you could barely see what was playing. Bright points. Rabbit Hole entertainment was always quite good. Water Sports were great. Oprah who works there was very nice. The food at the Jerk Shack was awesome even if staff was so-so. Rooms were nice and we had an updated shower. They did do some extras at night, foam party, dance parties, etc but not really advertised too much so you just had to hope to come across them. For the most part we had a good time. Got to relax and spent time with family.

We had an absolute blast on our honeymoon here! It was beautiful everyday and the service is outstanding! We ate, drank, slept, danced, and swam all day for a week! It couldn't have been better! We had two butlers that were awesome and would bring us pizza straight to the beach! We were in the butler suites with a semi-private pool which we loved going in at the end of the day! We loved going to the speakeasy to listen to live music and dance! It was so much fun and romantic! Couldn't recommend this place more!!

This our first time to Jamaica and to a Sandals property and it was amazing. We have done other all-inclusive resorts before but this was top notch. The food was amazing at every restaurant and the breakfast buffet. We really enjoyed how well manicured the resort was. They really do an amazing job at making you feel at home. The only downfall would be the beach area. This is not the resort for you if you're looking for long walks on the beach. The pool bars are awesome. It is a great resort if you like staying up late and partying though. We can't wait to do another Sandals property next year!
