Nice resort with many dinner and food options. Very friendly staff, great entertainment in the evenings, nice drinks, lovely pool area and an amazing beach! Would recommend.

The biggest problem this resort has is the quality/freshness of the food. Everything else is fine. When you are staying in all inclusive, you don't want to go the city just to have something to eat. Some of their food is overcooked, some seems to be sitting for a day or two. When you go to the resort you don't want to work as a food taster until you find something good on that day, you just want to have nice food and enjoy your vacation...

I never write reviews but this visit requires a huge compliment to Frey at the front desk. We had a huge issue the company we went through for reservations.
Frey was understanding, kind and efficient in fixing our issue.
All week when he sees one of our group which is five of us. He says hello and checks to make sure we are happy.
One of our travelers had a broken foot he set us up with a motorized wheel chair. If we need special transportation. Frey arranged it. My family felt very special. We are Royal Elite for ten years now. We have traveled enough to see that Frey was going above and beyond for us. I highly recommend this young man for his work ethic and good nature.
Hats off to you sir. Sandos is very lucky to have you as an employee.

My husband and I just returned from a two week stay. Jose and Minerva from the Avenue Bar could not have possibly made our stay any more enjoyable. Friendly & warm greetings each day with big smiles. They treated us like family. Such hard workers with huge hearts!!! Can’t wait to see them next year!!!
Sandos Playacar has had many changes, and we truly have no complaints about any of them. We stayed in the adults only section in building two. Elena kept our room spic & span throughout our stay.
We hung out in the Royal Elite beach section nearly every day and enjoyed it to the fullest!!
Every single employee we encountered was pleasant and kind, from reception personnel to the landscape attendants.
This was our eighth year at Playacar and we’ll definitely be returning for a ninth!!!!

The service in the avenue bar for the 7 years that we have been coming has been amazing. Jose Armando has a fabulous personality and memory of his guests. His friendliness is So appreciated. We always look forward to seeing him behind the bar. His attention to all the patrons is meticulous and fast! He’s patient with us just learning Spanish and tries to teach us. It’s always fun to be here...

The food was great, but it arrived very fast and must have been prepared way in advance, which limits the menu. They also would benefit from clarifying the prices on the menu which are set per 100 grams. When we came to pay, the bill was much higher than expected and I realised they had charged us for 1kg of chicken instead of the 300g we received and no manager expressed an interest in the situation. As I speak Romanian i was able to resolve it fairly easily, however I wonder whether other tourists would be able to do so.
