Experience of a lifetime! If you are seeking to be cheated and exploited by a hotel - look no further, you have found the place to stay! When we arrived, the rooms were dirty and things were broken. Constantly running water faucets, whistling water heaters every 20 minutes, ACs that didn’t work, ants crawling on the floor, beds and bathroom. Granted, most things (except the ants and the water heater) were being fixed while we were there, but the kicker was when we checked out that the head cleaning lady accused us of damaging a tv. She said we punched the tv and made it crack. Which we didn’t. We never used the tv and with the tv being off you couldn’t even see the crack, so we didn’t complain when we checked into the hotel. Despite the fact that we tried to explain the situation, she kept accusing us of breaking hotel property on purpose. We are appalled by the outrageous and demeaning behavior by the staff. We suspect that the hotel knows exactly what is broken and demands money from everyone staying in those rooms. It’s definitely a scam! If you are planning on staying at Beach Garden Hotel think carefully. They’ll take advantage of you. I would not recommend staying there. There are much better places around than this hotel.

Avoid at all costs! The worst hotel I have EVER stayed in. Okay I read the reviews, my girlfriend and I are young, so we read the reviews that it was in a noisy location and accepted there was going to be noise from nightclubs - this wasn't the problem. There were children running up and down SCREAMING until 3.30AM. I don't mean being loud, screaming at the top of their lungs. Tried to phone reception, phone didn't actually work. Finally at 3.30 they seemed to sleep after my girlfriend and another guest yelled at them. Come 2 hours later at 5.30, someone starts THUMPING on all the doors, screaming. Commotion for an entire hour in a street filled with Police. By 6.30 lady was moved on - handbag and telephone left in the stairway. Come 7am kids back up running and screaming, all in a tiled environment where everything echoes. Okay, we had enough, we made a complaint and were told to come back at 11am to speak to the manager as the receptionist couldn't do anything. Roll on 11am, we were told to wait for the manager, an hour later, he briefly is seen going into his office only to REFUSE TO COME AND SPEAK TO US. The only positive to the hotel? There was a lovely hotel across the road who saved us after the first night. Seriously, it is a disgrace to not even have the manager speak to us - we weren't the only ones lining up to complain, another gent said he had been there 5 nights and every night had been just the same. Seriously do avoid. Also the bathroom was mouldy and there were bed bugs, but you know what, overall this was the least of my concerns!!!

Wifi doesn't work in rooms and can only be used when sitting in the reception area. Pretty bad rooms. Unpleasant breakfast (uneaten food from the previous day is reheated and served again, it seems). Eggs and bacon in buffet are cold. Bread is stale. There is no laundry, despite what other sites say.
